How Our Designs Are Printed
Most of our apparel is printed using direct-to-garment printing, commonly called DTG. DTG printing applies water-based ink directly into the fibers of the garment instead of placing a thick vinyl layer over the fabric. This allows us to produce detailed, colorful designs while keeping the finished garment comfortable and wearable.
What to expect from a new DTG print
Your design may feel slightly firm or stiff when it first arrives. This is normal and the printed area will generally soften after washing and regular wear. Dark and colored garments usually require a white layer of ink beneath the design. This underbase helps red, white, blue, and other colors remain bright against the darker fabric. Because more ink is required, prints on dark garments may initially feel slightly heavier than prints on white or light-colored garments. You may also notice a faint vinegar-like scent or a light residue around the printed area. This comes from the pretreatment used to help the ink bond to the fabric. It is temporary and should disappear after the first wash.

The Lane Seven LS14001 Premium Hoodie
The Lane Seven LS14001 is our softest and most premium fleece option, featuring a midweight three-end fleece construction with a soft brushed interior and a smooth 100% cotton face that provides an excellent surface for printing. Solid colors are generally made from 80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester, while fabric blends may vary for heather colors. It feels warm and substantial without being excessively bulky, with a soft interior and smooth, structured exterior that makes it comfortable for cool game nights and everyday wear. The hoodie also includes a three-panel fleece-lined hood, front kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and waistband, matching drawcords, metal eyelets, reinforced double-needle stitching, and under 5% expected shrinkage when cared for properly.
How it fits
The Lane Seven LS14001 has a regular, relaxed unisex fit and generally runs true to size. Order your normal size for a comfortable everyday fit, size up one size for extra room or layering, or size up two sizes only when you want a deliberately oversized look.
The Gildan 18000 Heavy Blend Crewneck Sweatshirt
A traditional, dependable crewneck. The Gildan 18000 is a classic fleece crewneck sweatshirt with a soft brushed interior. It has the familiar feel and shape of a traditional school or team sweatshirt.
How it fits
The Gildan 18000 has a classic unisex fit with a straighter, slightly boxier shape through the body than the Lane Seven hoodie. Order your normal size for a traditional sweatshirt fit, size up one size for a more relaxed feel or extra room for layering, or size up two sizes for an intentionally oversized look.
